Join Us for a Hands-On Fall Perennial Planting Workshop!

Fall is the perfect time to prepare your garden for lasting beauty. Planning now will help ensure a beautiful display of perennials that will bloom year after year.

Join us at The Garden on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 @ 10AM for a special, hands-on Perennial Planting Workshop, where you’ll learn the secrets of cultivating these hardy, colorful plants that thrive season after season.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to select the best perennials for your region and where to buy them.

  • Best practices for prepping soil and using effective planting techniques soil and using effective planting techniques.

  • Secrets to designing a perennial garden that delights season after season.

  • Expert tips on watering, composting, mulching, and winterizing your plants.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Hands-On Experience: Immerse yourself in the gardening process as you plant alongside a master gardener.

  • Expert Guidance: Our horticulturist, with years of experience, will share invaluable insights.

  • Take-Home Plants: Each participant will leave with one gallon-size perennial plant for your home garden.  This plant is included in the ticket price.  Lovely additional perennial plants will be available onsite for a purchase price of $10 for one gallon size and $20 for a 3 gallon size pot.

  • Seasonal Refreshments: Pastries and beverages will be available for purchase on-site!

  • Seasonal Refreshments: Autumn-themed pastries and beverages will be available for purchase, including espresso drinks prepared by our in-house barista.

This workshop will be held on three Saturdays: October 12th, 19th, and 26th, from 10:00 to 11:30am in north McKinney.

Adults can join for $35, and children under 13 are free. The cost includes all materials and one take-home plant.
