We are a mission-driven social enterprise dedicated to the cultivation, promotion and preservation of native perennial plants, and climate-adapted food, herb and cut flower varieties.
With a focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship, we blend ecological restoration with community education to empower individuals and organizations to grow and protect native species, foster pollinator habitats, and cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world.
Our commitment to fostering biodiversity and preserving local ecosystems drives us to offer workshops, hands-on learning, and locally grown, eco-friendly products that contribute to healthier soils, resilient landscapes, and a greener future for all.
young Gardeners program
At Flori Kulture Gardens, we believe in nurturing not only the cognitive and physical development of children but also fostering their creativity, imagination, and self-expression through the study of the art and science of food and flower cultivation.
Through classroom, school garden and field-trip experiences, students of all ages from Pre-K-12, become young scientists by observing, exploring, inquiring, gathering data, problem-solving and using age-appropriate tools to investigate the natural world. Our goal is to stimulate a desire in all students to explore and increase their knowledge, and understanding of the natural world around them, while building foundational science, art and critical thinking skills.

We are deeply passionate about building and maintaining community through the art and science of horticulture.
We have intimate knowledge of every flower and plant we carry, what it takes to grow them and what it takes to care for them so they continue to bring you joy long after we hand them over to you.
We are also wholeheartedly committed to teaching and passing on our knowledge of what plants, food and flowers thrive in our North Texas climate, and how to build beautiful and sustainable kitchen and cut-flower gardens in your own backyard.
We are a “sustainable first” business. This means that our plants are sown and grown in our McKinney gardens where we employ organic, regenerative farming practices, or they are sourced from trusted local partners with a similar ethos. So when you buy from us, you allow us the privilege of being a part of your gardening experince, AND you become a partner on our purposeful journey to spread joy and a spirit of community through horticulture.
